Top Ghanaian actor John Dumelo has built a massive hotel in Lagos 'Maselo Apartment Hotel' he said “I coined the name from my full name John Mathew Kofi Setor Dumelo”. The actor is delving into the hospitality business in Nigeria following the success recorded by the Ghanaian arm of the hotel which is located at East Airport, Accra, Ghana.
The grand opening for the hotel will come up on the 1st of December, 2013, as plans have been put in place to make it a talk of the town opening ceremony.
Apart from his hotel business, Dumelo is a philanthropist of repute and has been using his foundation, John Dumelo Foundation, to help indigent students.
He is also into movie production and fashion business which he established in South Africa months ago. Even before the establishment of the hotel, the award-winning Ghanaian
actor is best known for establishing other businesses of social
benefits. Aside acting, his John Dumelo Foundation which is very
operational, presented an amount of GH¢3,000 to the Students Financial
Aid Office of the University of Ghana, Legon. Kudos to him.
